"4. L'adieu" from the premiere performance of the young Franco-British Composer Felix Penna-Hurst's song cycle La Nuit Constellée featuring known and unknown poetry by Guillaume Apollinaire. Sung by Mezzo Soprano Sophie Patterson with collaborative pianist Siyuan Xu. Premiered June 12th, 2024 in Leatherhead.

Mezzo-Soprano, Sophie Patterson sings "Ja nye sposobna k grusti tomnoy (Olga's Aria)" from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. A group of peasants enter, and celebrate the harvest with songs and dances. Tatyana and Olga watch. Tatyana has been reading a romantic novel and is absorbed by the story. Olga wants to join in the celebrations. When her sister comments that folk songs sung by the harvesters make her think of places far away from the estate, Olga responds that she has a different reaction when she hears the songs. Dreaming about other places does absolutely nothing for her. Instead, the songs just make her want to dance along with the peasants. Accompanied by Michelle Chow on piano. Mezzo-Soprano, Sophie Patterson sings "Per questa fiamma" from Donizetti's Anna Bolena accompanied by Joseph Cavalli Price on September 9th 2024. Anna Bolena is the story of King Henry the 8th's second wife: Queen Anne Boleyn. In this scene, Giovanna Seymour (Jane Seymour, his soon to be third wife), laments the pain and suffering she has and may cause her friend Anna Bolena with the adultery she and King Henry the 8th are committing.

Mezzo Soprano Sophie Patterson sings "Mister Snow" from Carousel by Rodgers & Hammerstein accompanied by Joseph Cavalli Price on September 9th 2024. Carrie finally tells her friend Julie Jordan about her "almost perfect beau" Mr. Snow.

Mezzo Soprano Sophie Patterson sings "Allez laissez-moi seul... Coeur sans amour" from Massenet's Cendrillon. Accompanied by Joseph Cavalli Price on September 9th 2024. Before the ball, we are introduced to the morose loneliness of a Prince whose heart never seems to find the love he seeks and needs.

Mezzo Soprano Sophie Patterson performs "Oh! la pitoyable aventure" from Ravel's L'heure espangole with Daniel Silcock in the David Josefowitz Recital Hall. Concepcion is the wife of a Clock Maker. This Clock Maker has gone out for work, leaving Concepcion to her own devices. Concepcion's only goal for the entire day has been to have an affair. This is her aria at the end of that day contemplating her failure and how she has managed to remain pure and faithful against all efforts.
